Yumas in Frankfurt

Ordered there today. For the price, the performance was a joke: on the one hand the food was cold, on the other hand it did not correspond to what was to be expected, both in terms of the quantity (small salad for 10 euros), as well as what was behind the dishes ( E.g. Chilli from Carne is a stew, not a rice salad with nachos and mince on top ...) ... The reviews on Lieferando don't seem real ...

As always, delicious! We had it delivered for the first time. Food was first class! Nice and warm, environmentally friendly packaging, courteous supplier and the quality as always convincing! Also recommended outside of the cozy pub during lockdown times!

Top price performance, very authentic & delicious cuisine and drinks, but above all the best mezcal selection in Frankfurt! Always my pleasure! :)

Doesn't work at all. Service very bad. Eat normally. But instead of working, they prefer to chat and look at their cell phones. Avocado used to be tough and the toilets smell. Only bad. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Very tasty in the evening. The young waiter went to great lengths to explain the sauces and dishes to us. We had a good time there. The food on the menu is recommended. At lunchtime there is more like fast food for a quick lunch break. I recommend going in the evening. Gladly again!

The waiters couldn't answer questions about the menu and were very slow overall. Drinks took at least a quarter of an hour and when we ordered the bill, it was put on our table, the card machine only had to be fetched "briefly", which again took at least 10 minutes and we had to ask again. the food was ok. I was a little disappointed that the bowl was cold and, accordingly, my beef in it ...

We were there for the second time (lunch and dinner) and very satisfied both times! Super nice staff, everything fresh and delicious and we thought it was great that the burritos can be put together individually as you wish, or you follow one of the recommendations;) we will be back!

The food is great! Five stars for the burritos. So far I don't know any other shop where the burritos taste as fresh and authentic as in Yumas! The preparation and the coordination of the ingredients is just perfect. I am now a regular there - thank you very much for the fantastic food & greetings to the always friendly and cheerful staff

Unfortunately, the staff is completely incompetent. We waited about 30 minutes to be served, it took them 1 hour to find out that there was no avocado left (quite an indictment for a Mexican restaurant) and that we should choose other dishes from the menu. After 1.5 hours we had our meal, which was pretty average, but not at all authentic. Definitely not to be recommended!

The second part of the main course was not served even after asking four times. Duration approx. 40 min. There was no apology, no redress. That spoiled the actually good food. Too bad.

I / we have been sind very disappointed. Price performance ratio wasn't right and the portions were too small. Furthermore, we waited a long time until the food came and it was still incorrectly served. We then had to go to Burger King. It is also not labeled that you have to pay by card.

We are going there quite often on friday after work with a larger crowd (10-20 peolpe) because food and drinks are great and, most importantly, staff always manages to exceed all expectations when it comes to creating a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Always very tasty, especially the vegetarian bowls. The price is reasonable for the Frankfurt Westend and the fresh ingredients. The employees are nice and responded very courteously and in a friendly manner to a one-off small mistake on their part. Everyone I went with loved it.

Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed. We relied on the Google reviews and then selected this restaurant. The quality of the food is good, but in terms of taste it didn't tear me or my companion off the stool. In addition, the atmosphere inside is very cool and dark, but that's definitely a matter of taste. The service was unfortunately not good on the Saturday evening either, we had to wait a long time for the order and the drinks to be placed, and the food was quite snappy.

I have a hard time with five stars, but here it is absolutely deserved. The food is very tasty, the portions are generous and the two waiters do their job really well. I am excited 😀

Never again We went to this restaurant on Friday, 08/28/2020 with a reservation. We have reserved for a total of 8 people. When we arrived we were first asked if we actually were eight. After we were allowed to sit down, we waited about a quarter of an hour until we were offered drinks. We waited in vain for a high chair I asked for. Then we ordered our food from a slightly tattered menu. After about an hour, our overstrained waiter brought the food. Unfortunately we could not eat together because there was no food. For our children there was only 1 menu for all 4 even though they were all ordered. The taste of the food was not authentic to the Mexican cuisine. And to top off the service, we were told when paying that you cannot pay with cash, but only with a card. Advance information would have been helpful

Really good mexican food in Westend. I went there with a friend of mine from California and she really appreciate the original Mexican food. The staff is very nice and makes an effort to make everybody feel comfortable. I reccomend it!!

One the places I miss the most since I left Frankfurt :'(

Classic Tex-Mex food. Only bowls and burritos are offered. It is not authentic Mexican cuisine, but it still tastes very good.

Hands down best Mexican I've found outside Mexico and California. Full flavors and a hip atmosphere to boot.

First of all, we had to wait even though we've made a reservation, After that the plates we ordered were almost 45mins late. The taste was nothing special, so I guess the prices are high (for what is being served) mostly because it's placed in Westend and the atmosphere. THE WORST THOUGH was, that it was asked from us that we put a 5-star review on google. Sorry, but no.

People were very nice and we were highly appreciative of the attention and service despite being a busy time of the day (we were there for lunch) Their menu is somewhat small and typical TexMex style, but their food was fresh and tasty. They have some great sauces which is always appreciated. Location is great for office employees looking for a bite but if you are driving there it will be difficult to find a parking spot. Take an uber or taxi or even train, your save yourself the headache, specially if you are there during lunch. Prices are very reasonable vs the quality of the food, which is not fast food. Just food prepared quickly 😇. Wish their tortillas would actually be made from corn flour instead of wheat as it adds texture and flavor but that's just nitpicking and they way their good is prepared is typical TexMex. Perhaps adding additional types of meat preparation would be a good idea, but then again; nitpicking. I would love some agua de horchata or Jamaica (hibuscus), they always go so well with this type of food. Overall I would definitely recommend, specially in the summer as it is wide open with lots if light and outdoor sitting possible, as a quick and tasty lunch and might update on their dinner experience at a later time.

Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in Germany! Delicious food and beautiful decor inside.

Disappointing quesadilla

Tacos and salsas were tasty but tortillas for tacos can be improved, they should be from corn flour not common wheat flour in a mexican restaurant. Service and atmosphere were nice. Quesadillas could be more juicy

You go inside, there is no ventillation, oil, food, it is stinky - you must change your clothes after visiting today this place People are coming after each other, and there is no capatity to deal with them - you can see on the faces, they are ICECOLD

During lunch you have to wait ages, food is so-so ok, but the service is a real disaster - waiters are shameless and sometimes card payment does not work - not recommended

Great food. As a mexicab I can say that it tastes really good, almost like home. You must come to this place and try the tacos de cochinita pibil.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Yumas in a group of almost 20 people and couldn't have been happier! Nik and his team ensured that we had a lovely time, with great service, food and drinks.

It was our first time in Yumas and we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly service, terrific Mexican food, and very tasty cocktails that Yumas had to offer. Excellent service and delicious food. As a Mexican, I felt at home. I even drank Mexican beer: "Negra Modelo" !. I'll be back.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. The portions are quite big and super tasteful. The staff is friendly and professional. Unfortunately the place does not have a English menu card but the staff was helpful to guide you through the menus. They take credit card!
